German consumer broadband, Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone in particular, has historically forced a reconnect and IP reassignment every 24 hours — which is exactly why the German rotating pool is so well supplied. Our static German residential IPs draw on a different resource class and hold the same address for the whole lease, unaffected by those reconnects, so they are safe for back-offices that need a fixed identity.

GDPR governs the processing of personal data, not proxy technology itself. Collecting public product prices, stock levels and ratings — non-personal data — is generally unrestricted. But if what you collect includes reviewer names, avatars or other identifiable information, you need a lawful basis and must meet notice obligations. Our German residential IPs never log your traffic content, retaining only connection metadata, but that does not discharge your own compliance duties.

If the account is not yet flagged, a dedicated German residential IP does cut the network-layer signal — Amazon clusters seller accounts sharing an IP or a /24. But once an account is banned for linkage, changing IP will not restore it; that requires an appeal. Browsing from a German residential IP shows whether Klarna, SEPA direct debit and Rechnung (pay-after-delivery) render correctly — options that usually stay hidden from non-German addresses.
