DuckDuckGo Proxy IPs

Give every search your agents and scripts send its own residential exit, rotating per request, with regions side by side.

Rotating residential IPs change per request with unlimited concurrency, billed per GB in packs that don't expire; trend baselines can sit on long-term static IPs.

Agents, regions and brand terms on a private search engine

DuckDuckGo is a go-to web search tool for agents and a clean sample for rankings and brand visibility, as long as you have plenty of controllable exits.

AI agent search that keeps answering

Many agent frameworks ship DuckDuckGo as their web search tool. With every call leaving one server, a ratelimit error arrives fast and the agent stalls. Rotate residential exits per request and the search tool keeps returning results.

Rotating residential

Regions side by side

Search one term in us-en, de-de and uk-en, each exit in the matching country. Only the region changes, so differences in DuckDuckGo rankings stand out at a glance.

Brand term monitoring: who bids on your name

Ads here come through the Microsoft network and match on the query alone. Search your brand terms weekly per region, log who bids on them and where the ads land, and archive what instant answers cite.

Study rivals without showing your office line

Click from results into rival sites and landing pages, and their analytics see an ordinary home-broadband visit rather than your company's office IP. That is how marketing and product teams do routine competitor research.

Short-term static IP

DuckDuckGo jobs and IP types

Agents and monitoring spread requests over rotating exits, long-term trends pin one fixed exit, and rival visits use short-term IPs.

One proxy line in your agent tool

HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, with username-and-password or IP allowlist auth; region code and exit country live in the same config.

Check the exit country

Run it before the agent goes live to confirm exit and region code share a country.

curl -x http://USER:PASS@GATEWAY:PORT https://example.com/

Proxy straight into the search library

Popular Python search libraries take a proxy argument; pass the region code alongside and each call picks a new exit.

from ddgs import DDGS
p = "http://USER:PASS@GATEWAY:PORT"
hits = DDGS(proxy=p).text("acme boots", region="de-de")

Keep baseline exits apart

Store long-term static IP credentials separately for trend jobs only, away from the agents' rotating requests.

DuckDuckGo proxy FAQ

Agent search, monitoring and region comparison run on rotating residential IPs (From $0.8/GB), per request; long-term trends get one broadcast residential IP per region ($4/IP/month); rival pages use short-term IPs (From $0.17/IP).

Rate errors usually mean every call leaves the same server IP. Give the search tool rotating residential IPs so each call takes a new exit, add a call gap and a retry cap, and the agent keeps getting results.

It ignores search history, but it organises results by region setting and uses rough location for local results. If region code and exit sit in different countries, you can't tell which market the page belongs to.

Pass the region code as a parameter, such as de-de or uk-en, and pick an exit in the same country. For markets sharing a language, run de-de and at-de apart, each with its own country's exit.

List brand names, product names and common misspellings, search them weekly per region, and log your site's organic position and the advertisers in ad slots. When a new advertiser appears, open its landing page on a short-term IP.

Dynamic residential plans have unlimited concurrency, so agents run side by side on their own exits. When queries stay heavy all day, a bandwidth plan (100Mbps / $980/30 days) gives dedicated, unmetered capacity that is easier to budget.

Rotating residential IPs bill per GB (From $0.8/GB) in packs that don't expire; long-term IPs bill per IP per month (From $3/IP/month); short-term IPs come in packs (From $0.17/IP).
