RuneScape Proxy IPs

One fixed exit per Jagex account, separate IPs for mains and ironmen, and a steady address for price tools and clan trackers.

Long-term IPs are leased monthly with the same address all lease; Java clients take SOCKS5 through JVM flags, and a 1–24 hour short-term IP lets you try a route first.

Veteran accounts, mains and ironmen, clans and price tools

Logins, separate accounts, clans and price data each get the right kind of exit, without getting in each other's way.

Jagex account: one exit for a years-old main

Your main holds thousands of hours of skills and gear. Give the Jagex account a native ISP IP and the Jagex Launcher, RuneLite and mobile all log in from one place, keeping the login history tidy.

Native ISP IP

Main, ironman account and alts kept apart

Many players run a main, level an ironman account and keep a skilling alt. Give each one its own broadcast IP and they stay on separate exits even when online together.

Broadcast IP

Clan XP tracking and hiscores

Clan admins pull members' hiscores data every day for XP competitions and rank tables. With a big clan the lookups add up, so run them in batches on rotating residential IPs, billed per GB with unlimited concurrency.

Grand Exchange price tools and plugin back ends

Authors of Grand Exchange price sites, RuneLite plugins or clan bots need a back-end address that never changes, so it can sit on API allowlists and logs stay easy to read.

Connecting clients and tools

Java clients use SOCKS5, price and clan tools use HTTP or HTTPS, with username and password or IP-allowlist auth.

Java client over SOCKS5

Java clients such as RuneLite accept JVM flags for SOCKS5; allowlist your home network and no password is needed.

java -DsocksProxyHost=GATEWAY -DsocksProxyPort=PORT -jar client.jar

Clan stats script

Run the hiscores script through a rotating residential exit, query members in batches and save results to the clan sheet.

import requests
p = {"https": "http://USER:PASS@GATEWAY:PORT"}
r = requests.get("https://example.com/", proxies=p)

Fixed exit for tool servers

Price sites and bots run on a server behind a datacenter IP, so API allowlists only need that one address.

curl -x http://USER:PASS@GATEWAY:PORT https://example.com/

RuneScape proxy FAQ

For a long-term main, choose a native ISP IP (From $5/IP/month): the exit is on a local home-broadband line, leased monthly at a fixed address. Ironman accounts and alts can use broadcast IPs, also dedicated and fixed.

Follow your usual RuneScape worlds: the UK if you play UK worlds, the US for North American hours, Germany for the continent and Australia for Asia-Pacific hours. City-level exits are subject to availability.

One IP per account. The more accounts you have online together, the more it matters to keep exits apart; each long-term IP bills per IP per month (From $3/IP/month).

Java clients take SOCKS5 through JVM flags; for the Jagex Launcher, use a per-program proxy tool or router-level SOCKS5, keeping launcher, client and mobile on one exit.

Rotating residential IPs (From $0.8/GB): billed per GB with unlimited concurrency, querying public hiscores in member batches, and unused traffic carries over to next month.

Lease short-term IPs (From $0.17/IP): one each in the UK, US and Germany for 1–24 hours, play an evening on each, then buy the long-term IP for your main.

Long-term static IPs bill per IP per month (From $3/IP/month), short-term IPs come in packs (From $0.17/IP), and rotating residential IPs bill per GB (From $0.8/GB).
