What are mobile proxies used for? Short-task use cases

Mobile device IPs are short-lived and rotating, so they fit tasks that don't need an IP to last. Accounts and stores that need a fixed IP long term belong on native residential IPs.

  • Web scraping and mobile data collection

Rotate per request so each request leaves through a different real carrier exit, for mobile pages and public sites that are strict with datacenter IPs.

    • Web scraping
    • Per-request rotation
  • Account sign-ups in target markets

Keep the details, verification code and first login in one sticky session and finish within 60 minutes. Once the account runs long term, move it to a native residential IP.

    • Sign-ups
    • Sticky sessions
  • SMS, email and login verification

When account owners confirm SMS codes, emails or 2FA on a new device or in a new place, use a mobile IP in the account's usual region and finish in one sticky session.

    • SMS verification
    • 2FA
  • One-off checkout and payment checks

Walk a test order through add-to-cart, payment and callback once on a mobile network in the target country. Day-to-day logins to payout or payment accounts belong on native residential IPs.

    • Checkout QA
    • One-off actions
  • Mobile ad verification and app localization QA

Spot-check ads, landing-page redirects and in-app regional content from a mobile network in the target country, close to what local phone users see.

    • Ad verification
    • App testing

Mobile Device IP plans: per GB, packages never expire

Official list prices in US dollars. Mobile traffic is deducted per GB used. Seven packages run from 1 GB for $2.80 to 1000 GB for $1600.00, and the rate drops from $2.80/GB to $1.60/GB as packages get bigger.

Mobile traffic packages (1–1000 GB)

Real carrier 4G/5G device IPs, short-lived and rotating, billed per GB in seven packages that never expire. Built for scraping, sign-ups, verification and other short tasks; pairs well with residential traffic.

  • 1 GB mobile traffic $2.80 $2.80/GB
  • 5 GB mobile traffic Recommended $13.00 $2.60/GB
  • 20 GB mobile traffic $48.00 $2.40/GB
  • 80 GB mobile traffic $176.00 $2.20/GB
  • 200 GB mobile traffic $400.00 $2.00/GB
  • 500 GB mobile traffic $900.00 $1.80/GB
  • 1,000 GB mobile traffic $1600.00 $1.60/GB

All prices in USD. Mobile traffic is deducted from your package per GB consumed; unused traffic never expires, and the console usage report is the reference. Mobile, residential and datacenter traffic are separate packages, bought separately.

Mobile vs residential vs datacenter proxies

Mobile device IPs stand out for their low risk score but are short-lived and rotating; residential IPs balance trust and cost, and native residential IPs stay fixed long term; datacenter IPs win on speed and price. The table puts all five NexIP IP types side by side so you can choose by task length and sensitivity.

Mobile proxies FAQ

How much do mobile proxies cost?

Billed per GB in seven packages, from $2.80 for 1 GB down to $1.60/GB on the 1000 GB package. Bigger packages cost less per GB, and packages never expire.

How long does a mobile IP last? Can I use it for long-term logins?

Not for long-term logins. With rotation every request gets a new exit; a sticky session holds one exit for up to 60 minutes, then you get a new IP. Stores, social, ad and payment accounts need a fixed IP, so choose native residential IPs (From $5/IP/month).

Why do mobile IPs have a low risk score?

Carriers use carrier-grade NAT, so many real phone users share one public IP, and blocking it would hit real customers; platforms treat it cautiously. The traffic also comes from real devices on real towers. Outcomes still depend on account history and behavior.

Can I use mobile proxies for payments and checkout?

Only for one-off actions finished in one session, such as walking a mobile checkout once in a test environment or an account owner completing a single payment check. Staying logged in to payout or payment accounts needs a fixed IP, so choose native residential IPs. Card testing and using other people's accounts are not supported.

Mobile or residential traffic: which should I use?

Mobile traffic has a lower risk score but costs more per GB, so use it for strictly protected pages, sign-ups and verification. Residential traffic costs less (From $0.8/GB) and suits large-scale scraping and monitoring. Many teams send critical requests over mobile and bulk requests over residential.

Which protocols and countries do mobile proxies support?

HTTP and SOCKS5, for browsers, automation scripts and app testing tools. Coverage spans 200+ countries and regions with country/region targeting; if you need a specific carrier, check with our 24/7 support before you buy.
